Japanese Green Tea and Matcha are full of powerful health benefits; it’s high in antioxidants, supports cognitive health, protects the liver, boosts cardiovascular health, promotes weight loss and fat burning, and is rich in bioactive compounds. Green tea and matcha contain many of the same health benefits, but the plant itself is cultivated in different ways. Both grown from the Camellia sinesis plant but green tea utilizes the leaves and buds of the plant, whereas matcha is made from the entire tea leaf, resulting in a greater amount of caffeine and up to 137 times more antioxidants than typically found in green tea. 🍵
